How do I use 4 USB modems with my IRL Backpack v7 or LiveU Solo PRO?

The LiveU Solo PRO, the video bonding encoder used in the IRL Backpack v7, allows for the simultaneous bonding of: up-to 4 USB modem connections, 1 Ethernet connection, and 1 WiFi connection. As the LiveU has only 2 physical USB-A ports, you'll need a pair of Y-cables to use 2 USB modems on each USB-A port, unlocking the full potential of this encoder's cellular bonding technology. Y cables for your Solo PRO can be ordered on our site.

When purchasing an IRL Backpack v7, a LiveU Solo PRO and/or a 4 Modem “Quattro” Solo PRO Connect kit from UnlimitedIRL, the necessary Y cables will be included for free with your order. These cables will not be included with standalone single Solo PRO Connect kit orders unless ordered with a LiveU PRO or IRL Backpack, and extra Y cables for your Solo PRO can be ordered on our site.

NOTE: if you acquired your LiveU Solo PRO from a vendor other than UnlimitedIRL, the included 90 degree USB-A 2.0 extension cables in your LiveU PRO's box will NOT work with the Y-cables. Only USB 3.0 (usually notated by a blue internal USB connector) cables will work with the Y-cables.
