TVU HDMI Clamp Quick Start Guide

Introduction

This HDMI Clamp accessory is designed to keep your HDMI connection secure while broadcasting with your TVU encoder. It reduces strain on the internal port, helps prevent cable disconnects during movement, and ensures a more stable, reliable stream.

Your HDMI Clamp will already come pre-installed, but you can follow this simple guide when reinstalling or troubleshooting. The process is straightforward and should take only a few minutes.

Package Includes

The HDMI Clamp kit includes:

• 1 × HDMI Clamp
• 1 × 8K HDMI Cable
• 2 × 6mm Screws
• 2 × Washers
• 1 × 2mm Hex Key

Installation Steps

Step 1 — Attach the HDMI Clamp

• Align the external HDMI connector on the clamp with the HDMI port on the back or side of your TVU encoder.
• Make sure the clamp sits flush against the device housing.

Step 2 — Secure the Connector

• Using the provided 2 mm Hex Key, fasten the two 6mm screws along with their washers through the clamp and into the device’s casing.
• Tighten gradually until the connector is secure. Follow the positioning indicated by the red arrows in the reference image.

Step 3 — Verify Connection

• Ensure the clamp is firmly mounted, with no wobble or movement.
• A properly installed clamp should feel solid and keep the connector fully aligned with the port.

Step 4 — Connect the Cable

• Insert the included 8K HDMI cable into the HDMI port on the clamp.
• Press firmly until fully seated. This ensures the most stable connection.

Your HDMI Clamp installation is now complete! You should have a far more secure, durable HDMI connection ready for IRL streaming anywhere.
